- BUILT FOR WINCHING, NOT LIFTING - In 2021 we set out to design a hook around winch loads rather than adapt a chain or rigging fitting. Wide mouth gate takes a tree protector or soft shackle one handed. Nests flat on the fairlead, so no separate winch stopper needed. Thousands sold worldwide since.
- CHECK YOUR ROPE, NOT JUST YOUR WINCH - Fits 3/8" to 1/2" synthetic rope or steel cable, for winches rated 7,000 lb to 20,000 lb. Rope diameter varies between winch brands and models, so measure yours before ordering.
- TRUE ONE HANDED OPERATION - The cast alloy gate opens wide and closes clean, with spring components fully enclosed. No exposed spring and no sharp edges on the back of the hook, so it stays easy to handle with gloves on. Under destructive load testing, failure occurred in the hook body and not at the gate.
- FORGED AND FINISHED FOR HARD USE - Forged and heat treated 40Cr alloy steel with a UV resistant powder coat. Over 3 lb of hook, heavy enough to drop cleanly off the drum as you unspool. Through pin secured by an external circlip. Available in ten colours.
