Dual 20-Inch Deionized Water System for Car Washing

The Pphpcpx Dual 20-Inch Deionized Water System is designed to provide low-TDS water for the final rinse stage of car washing, RV cleaning, boat care, window washing and solar-panel maintenance. During the main wash, use regular tap water through the built-in bypass mode to reduce unnecessary resin consumption, then switch to the deionized-water path for the final rinse. The two 20 × 4.5-inch mixed-bed ion exchange resin cartridges help reduce dissolved minerals that may remain on paint, glass, chrome and other surfaces after ordinary water evaporates. Under laboratory test conditions with 200 ppm inlet water, the system is rated to produce approximately 330 gallons of deionized water; actual resin life varies with source-water TDS, mineral composition, flow rate, water temperature and the outlet-TDS level selected for replacement. The integrated TDS meter allows users to monitor outlet water during operation. For stronger drying results, an outlet reading below 15 ppm is the preferred range, while many users replace the resin when readings reach approximately 20–40 ppm. The suggested operating flow is 1–2.5 GPM, with slower final-rinse flow providing additional contact time between the water and resin. The system operates within a working-pressure range of 20–125 psi and a listed water-temperature range of 40–111°F. Its rolling frame and adjustable handles make the dual-housing system easier to move between a garage, driveway, workshop or vehicle-care area. Before first use, confirm the water-flow direction marked on the housing, seat each O-ring correctly, apply thread-seal tape where instructed and slowly pressurize the system while checking every valve, adapter and hose connection for leaks. This equipment is intended for washing and final-rinse applications only and is not a drinking-water treatment system. Protect the housings from freezing temperatures, drain the unit before extended storage and regularly inspect the filter bottles, seals and connections for cracking, deformation or wear.
