Each of the Blackbird's three pieces is CNC machined from solid Grade V titanium by us right here in our San Diego shop. After machining, each piece receives multiple rounds of quality control and hand finishing to ensure the highest level of quality and precision. We polish our razors by hand in-house using a multistage process to remove the machining marks and bring out a brilliant shine. While titanium cannot be polished to the same level of reflectivity as stainless steel, we are able to produce a striking and elegant finish.
